The oldest of the brothers
Jan Koral, the oldest of the three brothers from a well -known family of ice cream producers, died at the age of 81. In his hometown of Nowy Sącz he is remembered as the founder of the “Bajka” confectionery at ul. Sobieski, who opened its doors in 1968.
It was Jan who was to advise and train younger brothers in the topics of the confectionery industry. Thanks to this, in the late 1970s, they founded the Koral company, which is today one of the tycoons on the domestic ice cream market.

The deceased also undertook initiatives in the sphere of sport, and in the 1980s he was an activist and sponsor of local Sandecja. On May 9, the last farewell was planned. The ceremony will take place in Nowy Sącz.
Known company
The name Koral is associated primarily with a known brand of ice cream. In 1979, Józef and Marian Koral founded it in Limanowainitially producing ice cream with craft methods. In the early 1990s, the owners decided to buy Italian machines, which improved the speed and quality of production. Thanks to the skilful trade and advertising policy, the company has developed significantly over time. The company has a significant share in the sale of impulse ice cream (consumed immediately after their purchase), and both businessmen belong to the top of the richest Poles. Currently, the company's portfolio is found 400 different types of ice creamincluding those from the Premium Braci Bracia – ice cream – as before. The company operates not only in Poland, but also in many European countries, including Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Great Britain and Ireland.
