Police officers from Janów Lubelski, together with a priest, distributed reflectors after the evening mass. As they emphasize, it was an opportunity to remind residents of the rules of movement on the roads and how important it is for safety to use reflective elements.

On Saturday afternoon, officers from Janów Lubelski – accompanied by the chaplain of the local police, Tomasz Lis – distributed reflectors.

– People who participated in the evening holy mass, after its completion, received reflective armbands – said staff assistant Faustyna Łazur, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Janów Lubelski.

As she emphasized, police officers reminded residents of the rules of safe behavior on the road as pedestrians and the importance of having reflective elements.

– Let us remember that a small reflective element can save our lives, because thanks to it we are visible to the driver from a distance of up to 150 meters. In this case, the driver has time to reduce speed and safely pass the pedestrian.
