E&K failed to fulfill the order, did not deliver a thousand devices and still did not return tens of millions of zlotys.
– The E&K company was recommended by one of the special services. by the Intelligence Agency. Then, in accordance with the procedure that was adopted, I obtained a positive opinion of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau – he said.
– And why did we decide to buy this at all? Because we had a clear expert opinion on this particular transaction, this particular equipment. We had the opinion of Professor Radosław Owczuk, who was a national consultant for anaesthesiology and intensive care – added Cieszyński.
He later said that “we were buying this equipment at a time when it was not available, and the purchase of this equipment was recommended by a national consultant.” – I signed a contract with a contractor who was verified by the institutions responsible for verifying the credibility of entities.
