Two planes collided on the runway at Haneda Airport in Tokyo on Saturday. No one was injured in the incident, but some flights were delayed due to the incident, the Reuters agency reported, citing the Japanese transport ministry.

Thai Airways said its plane, bound for Bangkok, was executing a runway maneuver in preparation for flight when it collided with the rear of a Taiwanese Eva Airways plane.

As a result of the incident, the right winglet – a small aerodynamic wing – of the Thai aircraft was damaged. The flight had to be canceled due to a malfunction. There were 250 passengers and 14 crew members on board the Airbus A330.
