As “Guardian” describes, the authorities of the Japanese town of Otaru this week directed several bodyguards to guard order at the steep Funamizaka Street, where tourists accumulate massively. The decision results from complaints coming from local residents that visitors are pressing and hindering traffic.

Local residents admit that tourists have so far entered private property without permission to take pictures. Her husband was to confirm the police that a woman tried to take a picture in a place known from one of the Chinese films and by entering the railway track did not notice the oncoming train.
