A 31-year-old from Jarocin is suspected of 21 frauds. She allegedly committed them while working in one of the loan companies. She fell into the hands of investigators because she did not pay her parking ticket.

– The method of operation of the 31-year-old resident of Jarocin was well planned – says Asp. pcs. Agnieszka Zaworska, press officer of the police in Jarocin.

The woman was employed as an intermediary in one of the loan companies in Poznań. This gave her access to customer records.

– She decided to use their data to draw up fictitious loan agreements. She forged the signatures of people whose data appeared on such a contract. After the loan was granted, the money was credited to her account. However, the unsuspecting people for whom the loan was taken were obliged to repay the loan, explains the police officer.

The victims notified the police in 2021. They reported that they were charged with repayments, although they did not take out any loans. Officers from Jarocin determined that a woman in the period from November 2020 to March 2021, acting to the detriment of a financial institution and 21 people, extorted over PLN 16,000. zloty.

Didn’t pay the parking fee

Since then, she has changed her place of residence. – An arrest warrant has been issued for her. She was effectively hiding until mid-March this year, emphasized the spokeswoman.

She got caught when she failed to pay the parking fee at one of the parking lots in Koźmin Wielkopolski. During the reported intervention and identification of the woman, the police determined that she was wanted by the Jarocin police.

The 31-year-old was arrested. She heard allegations related to fraud and the use of forged documents. She faces up to eight years in prison.
