Jarosław Kaczyński about a meeting with Szymon Hołownia. “We talked about that”

Jarosław Kaczyński, when asked about meeting Szymon Hołownia, said that “we had to save Poland, we talked about that”. – Certainly these were not those that some guessed – said the president of Law and Justice.

PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński answered on Sunday to part of the journalists' questions during the press conference organized in Rosówek (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) at the border crossing with Germany.

TVN24 reporter Alicja Rucińska asked Kaczyński if she was satisfied with the meeting with the Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia. Originally, the politician said that he would like the editors to agree with each other whether it was “it was a meeting (Adama) Bielan or mine”. – because when it comes to agreeing my noble friend Adam BielanWell, I don't know, and when it comes to me, I won't say I didn't talk – he added.

Then he stated that “we spoke in full discretion” and he did not know, “why this discretion was interrupted rapidly”. – I will not interrupt her, but they certainly were not those matters that some guess. We realistically approach the situation, also in this current coalition – said Kaczyński.

– On the other hand, such matters (…) that you need Poland – this word is completely justified – save, so we talked about it – said PiS president.

Asked whether he achieved his goal, Kaczyński replied that “this is politics.” “Step by step, when we get the road, I will be happy,” he said.

Szymon Hołownia meeting with the opposition

According to journalists Dominika Długosz from “Newsweek” and Mariusz Gierszewski from Radio Zet, Szymon Hołownia visited the apartment of PiS MEP Adam Bielan on Thursday late in the evening. Later, according to “Fakt” photojournalists, Jarosław Kaczyński's car came to the garage.

Information about the meeting caused a wave of speculation and comments among politicians. Journalists wrote about a “secret visit” and meeting “under the cover of night”. On Friday evening, Szymon Hołownia referred to the matter. “The intensification and excitement associated with my yesterday's meeting is neither justified nor indicated” – wrote the Speaker of the Sejm on social media.
