The Germans did not settle accounts with us during World War II, said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński. The deputy prime minister also said that in the event of a possible threat, “we can count on NATO, but then we can count on how to arm ourselves hard”. He also answered a question about a possible alliance between his party and the Confederation.

President Law and Justicedeputy prime minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski said during the Wednesday meeting with the inhabitants of Sochaczew that “Germany they did not settle accounts with us from World War II. “According to him, even the evident criminals were not punished. of Nazi law, that is, he is innocent – said Kaczyński.

The PiS leader also said that Germany paid reparations to France or the Jews. – What, are we worse? – He was asking.

– I think that the right moment – because there is something like timing in politics – the moment when you have to come forward with certain demands, the right moment is probably approaching, you have to hit the table with your fist – he assessed.

In his opinion, “Germany pretends to be a moral power.” – When they are a moral power, I am a young, tall blonde – ironized Kaczyński.

PiS president: we must be militarily strong

The deputy prime minister and president of the Law and Justice party also referred to the war in Ukraine. As he said, this country is currently fighting for the values of the Western world, so we must do everything possible to prevent it from losing this war. – After over 100 days of war, Ukraine still controls 80 percent of the country’s territory – he pointed out.

– Let’s hope that there will be a point where we will have a balance, and maybe even an advantage of Ukrainians. Not in the number of weapons, but in the quality of the weapons. Because one thing is a cannon that fires more or less like during World War II, and another one that shoots several dozen kilometers with an accuracy of 2-3 meters – said the PiS president.

He explained that he meant, for example, HIMARS. – We ordered these HIMARS in the United States in such a quantity that so far this weapon has not been produced, but has been produced since the 1980s – he said. – Americans asked why. Precisely because we do not want war, we want to scare the Russians away, we want to show the Russians that they have nothing to look for here, even if they were stronger than at the moment – Kaczyński continued.

As he declared, “we will increase the army, we will arm it in such a way that it will be difficult to attack us”. – Of course, we can count on NATO, but then we can count on how to heavily arm ourselves. I would like you to understand that we must be militarily strong, he said.

– Anyway, when we said that we would arm ourselves militarily, the Germans said they would too. So this mechanism has been triggered. I do not know whether the Germans want to arm themselves against Russia or against us, but at least they are arming themselves – he added.

PiS president: we will not enter into alliances with anyone on the Russian side

Kaczyński was also asked whether a coalition of Law and Justice with the Confederation is possible “due to similar patriotic values”.

He assessed that “Confederation is two parties in one”. As he said, on the one hand there are nationalists who “to some extent have similar values to ours”, but – said the PiS leader – on the other hand, there are supporters of Russia in the Confederation. – We will not enter into alliances with anyone on the Russian side – he argued.

– These are people who would like Poland to have what is called social Darwinism, i.e. who is stronger, is better. No pro-social solutions, no social protection, he continued. – That is why we cannot agree to this solution in any case – added the PiS president during a meeting with the inhabitants of Sochaczew.
