Jarosław Kaczyński argued in Sokołów Podlaski that the leader of the PO, Donald Tusk, “conducted a policy guided primarily by Germany, but also bowed very low to Russia.” – I hope that next week a commission will be established to study these (Russian – ed.) influences and will show these various documents – said the PiS president. Kaczyński also assessed that the rule of law in Poland “is very often trampled on today” by the courts. – We’ll change it. Nothing will stop us this time,” he said.

PiS president, deputy prime minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski spoke on Saturday at a meeting with the inhabitants of Sokołów Podlaski. He emphasized that “elections in less than two months, so quite soon.

– These will be special elections, because their stake is special. Some, including myself, compare it to the 1989 election. And so it is, he argued. In his opinion, the decision that the citizens will take on October 15 “will be a decision relating in the full sense of the word to our future.”

As Kaczyński said, “you can tell all sorts of stories, you can call white black and black white.” “But when it comes to deeds, what you actually did, it’s incomparably harder to cheat here.” And if we compare two eight years – ours, which is about to end, and the one that came before, the eight years of PO and PSL rule, it seems that the result of this comparison (…) in terms of deeds, in terms of the results is quite obvious, he continued.

PiS president: I hope that a commission on Russian influence will be established next week

The deputy prime minister also said that PiS works for Poland, and that his political opponents in the past “acted mainly from external inspiration, with personal ambitions and personal interests playing a very important role in all this.” Donald Tusk“.

In Kaczyński’s opinion, the leader of the Civic Platform “led a policy dictated primarily by Germany, but also bowed very low to Russia.” – I hope that next week a commission will be established to study these influences (Russian – editorial note) and show these various documents. And you will see what it really looked like,” he said.

Kaczyński: The courts mock the rule of law. We will change it, nothing will stop us this time

Kaczyński also spoke about the administration of justice. He assessed that the rule of law “is very often trampled on today”. – But by whom? Through the courts. By these courts that are so defended. They are just making fun of the obvious facts very often. They are just mocking the rule of law. We will change it. Nothing will stop us this time. We will change that, he declared.

– And Poland will finally be as it should be. Not poorer than the countries of Western Europe. And with time, God willing, richer, ”he continued. And I’m not talking about the perspective of many decades. I’m talking about a perspective that, when it comes to reaching the level of France or England, can really be even less than 10 years. And they themselves are already talking about it, they are threatening that Poles will be richer than them, added the president of Law and Justice.

Kaczyński on Tusk’s rule: they began to reduce our army

The deputy prime minister also referred to the words of his brother, the tragically deceased president Lech Kaczyńskifrom Tbilisi in 2008, that Russia may attack other countries.

According to the PiS president, “it was such a great, very significant warning.” – Now the question is, what conclusions have our today’s political opponents drawn from this warning? Have they started strengthening our country, our armed forces, trying to strengthen our alliances, and in particular the presence here of the most powerful and only (…) powerful ally, ie the United States? NO. It was exactly the opposite, he said.

He argued that “they began to reduce our army, limit its presence in various parts of Poland, but especially in the east.”

“We were dealing here with action against the security of Poland”

Speaking about Poland’s military security, he raised the issue of alliances concluded by our country. In his opinion, there was “a very serious opportunity to strengthen our presence in NATO”, when Poland was at one point “in a position that can be described as second-class”.

– That is, the 1996 pact between NATO and Russia stipulated that there could be no permanent bases, military installations here, of course there was no question of nuclear weapons. In short, on the one hand, we are in NATO, but on the other hand, we are in such a weak position that there cannot be something here that actually strengthens our defense on a daily basis, he said.

Then, the PiS president said, “there was a chance to break it.” He pointed out that it was about “American bases that were supposed to contain this military element, purely military, i.e. anti-missile launchers.” – Our governments were in talks on this matter and it seemed that it could be finalized – continued Kaczyński, noting that the then president Lech Kaczyński was in favor of this finalization.

– And Donald Tusk and his colleagues were against it, as it turned out, although initially they said something else. And the whole project ended up being rejected, and it was a project that would greatly increase our security, he argued. – In short, we were dealing here with action against Poland’s security, real, concrete action against Poland’s security – he said.

Jarosław Kaczyński argued that one should not believe those who today – like PiS – declare that they want to arm Poland.

– This lie is the foundation of their entire propaganda, this is the foundation of their entire story about Poland. They lie all the time, and in an incredibly brazen way. In one day they can change their mind – once this, once this – he said. – Because where you lie, where you lie to the voters, where you say one thing and then do something else, there is no real democracy there – he added.

“Donald Tusk was the king of unemployment”

Jarosław Kaczyński also referred to the verdict in the electoral lawsuit brought by PiS civil Platform. The Warsaw district court found that the information contained in the Law and Justice spot, that during the rule of Donald Tusk unemployment was 15 percent, “is not in line with the facts”.

>> There is a verdict in the first election process. It was about the PiS spot about unemployment during Tusk’s rule <<

However, Kaczyński said that unemployment in 230 counties out of 384 “was 15 percent or higher” – In short, there is a lot of truth in these 15 percent – he assessed.

The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that access to work and a stable income are the basis of economic security. He emphasized the increase in the hourly rate and the minimum wage. There’s a gulf between them and us. A gap far exceeding the level of economic development in the last eight years, he said.

– They had the standard of living of Poles, let’s just say, in the same esteem as Eastern Poland – assessed Kaczyński, adding that “Donald Tusk was the king of unemployment”.
