Jarosław Kaczyński, deputy prime minister, president of Law and Justice, during a meeting in Połajewo in Wielkopolska, announced that in a few weeks the party would present a new program, “completely specific”, not for four years, but for eight years. He added that this program will also include a vision for the next, distant years, “a vision of regaining Poland”. – We have almost eight years of rule of Law and Justice behind us. Today, Jarosław Kaczyński spoke as if he had not ruled for eight years – these words were commented on TVN24 by Renata Mieńkowska-Norkiene, a political scientist from the University of Warsaw.

Deputy Prime Minister, President of PiS Jaroslaw Kaczynski during a meeting in the “Family Picnics” series in Połajewo, he spoke about the most important goals, which “come down to the fact that we want to be a prosperous, peaceful, strong society with a strong, well-functioning and, of course, democratic state in every respect.”

President PIS he said that in a few weeks the party would present a new program, “completely specific”, not for four years, but for eight years. – We want to really change Poland and lead it forward – he said. He added that this program will also include a vision for the next, distant years. – A vision of regaining Poland, because Poland was terribly ruined by communism, even more so by World War II, but also by previous events, also by liberal, extreme, Darwinist policies, which were carried out especially in the 90s, but also later (which) drove Poles into a terrible situation, into poverty, misery, into hungry children, he said.

– Therefore, a vision will be presented for a distant time, one that I will certainly not live to see, (…). On the one hand, this is a vision reaching towards the past, so as to eliminate this past, this bad past. But this is also a vision of a truly super-modern economy, a super-modern state, explained the PiS leader.

Dr. hab. Mieńkowska-Norkiene: Kaczyński spoke as if he had not ruled for eight years

The speech of the deputy prime minister, the president of PiS, was commented on TVN24 by Renata Mieńkowska-Norkiene, a political scientist from the University of Warsaw.

– Jarosław Kaczyński spoke about a plan for very long years and that a modern Poland would be built, (…). We have almost eight years of rule of Law and Justice behind us. Jarosław Kaczyński spoke today as if he had not ruled for eight years – she commented.

As she continued, it was a “quite energetic” speech by the PiS president in relation to his recent public appearances.

– On the other hand, his visions, the fact that a program will be presented, is absolutely not creative in any way. He probably just supports or wants to show with his good form that he can still do a lot. However, there was nothing that could be considered different, more interesting – assessed the political scientist.

– Everything that PiS is saying now, this whole message, addressed mainly to older people and those with a more traditional attitude, is, among other things, fighting for this electorate. But PiS cannot aim very high here, because it is known that there is a limited number of such people. So today it was really about showing that Jarosław Kaczyński is doing well, that he still manages it, is in good shape and that he somehow keeps an eye on it so that someone does not accidentally think that he is already so old, stale Mr. Mieńkowska-Norkiene added.
