The press team of the central management of the Prison Service published a statement regarding the health condition of Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński. “The method and methods of treating an inmate are decided by the doctor, taking into account the good of the patient,” it was reported.
During a talk with journalists in the Sejm on Thursday, the president of PiS Jaroslaw Kaczynski referred to his health condition Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński, who were released from prison on Tuesday. He said, among other things, that Mariusz Kamiński he feels bad after being released from prison and that he was tortured.
– For no reason, a tube was inserted into a man who has certain defects in his nasal septum, which caused great pain and, knowing that he was about to be released from prison, forced imprisonment was carried out. This is torture and people who use such methods should answer for it, not with minor penalties, but with long-term prison sentences, he claimed.
The Prison Service on Kaczyński’s words
President’s statement PIS Jarosław Kaczyński’s use of “torture” was commented on on Friday by the press team of the central management of the Prison Service in a statement.
It was recalled that “every officer and employee of the Prison Service, including doctors, is obliged to perform their duties in a humane and law-abiding manner.” “The method and methods of treating an inmate are decided by the doctor, taking into account the patient’s well-being,” wrote SW.
It was also noted that the Prison Service is obliged to provide each inmate with appropriate health care. “An inmate with a diagnosed health problem is provided with appropriate medical care and is guaranteed treatment adequate to the current health condition and doctor’s recommendations,” it was noted.
