Jarosław Kaczyński was stripped of his immunity. He may be held criminally liable in a battery case. Journalists in the parliamentary corridor asked him how Zbigniew Komosa attacked him. A discussion ensued. – How do you even have the nerve to talk to me like that? Especially ma'am. We will remember this, he told reporters.
Jarosław Kaczyński still has not apologized for his behavior and still insults Zbigniew Komosa, who wants to sue him for punching him in the face – he recently called him a lump. The Sejm agreed that Jarosław Kaczyński would lose his immunity in this case.
– It is important that in this key vote, in which we decided on the immunity of Jarosław Kaczyński for an act against a citizen, that at least on this issue we obtained a majority sufficient to take away the immunity – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk. – That the politician should be brought to justice for the harm he has done to an ordinary person – he added
– I don't feel guilty in the slightest. I believe that I did the only thing that could be done in this situation – said Jarosław Kaczyński.
It was Law and Justice and Jarosław Kaczyński who politicized the Smolensk monthly events. This is where the PiS president insinuates an attack because he does not provide evidence.
Zbigniew Komosa is an activist who leaves wreaths with a plaque with the inscription at the Smolensk monument on Piłsudski Square in Warsaw.
The full text of the plaque reads: “In memory of the 95 victims of Lech Kaczyński, who, ignoring all procedures, ordered the pilots to land in Smolensk in extremely difficult conditions. Rest in peace. Polish nation.” There is also a note at the bottom: “Stop creating false heroes.”

The PiS president scolded the journalist
It was at PiS monthly commemorations that banners first appeared attacking Donald Tusk, but no one destroyed them. Donald Tusk did not throw punches and did not engage in fights with those holding such banners. It was Jarosław Kaczyński who was recorded swinging his fist. – Every citizen has the right to self-defense. It was a defensive reaction, he said in the parliamentary corridor.
The PiS president allowed himself to talk about the oldest profession in the world in response to the journalist's questions, and also tried to intimidate her with the words “we will remember it.” – How do you even have the nerve to talk to me like that? Especially ma'am. We will remember this, he warned. – You cannot be treated as journalists at all, but as officers of a very bad cause – he told reporters in the Sejm.

Members of the ruling coalition are divided on the issue of destroying wreaths
Jarosław Kaczyński, Marek Suski and Anita Czerwińska are still protected by their immunity in the case of destroying wreaths at the Smolensk monument, the content of which they did not like. Part of the ruling coalition – PSL and Poland 2050 – also voted against their repeal.
– Settlements are not about dealing with such small matters – said Bartosz Romowicz, MP from Poland 2050-Third Way.
– I voted for the removal of immunity in the first case and did not vote for the removal of immunity in the second case. I respect the opinion of my club colleagues, most of them decided to vote against it, so I didn't want to vote against them, but I won't vote against myself either – said Aleksandra Leo, MP from Poland 2050-Third Way.
– It is worth being an ally of law and the rule of law. In my opinion, we need to be very careful not to become, even for a moment, an ally of those who have had no regard for the rule of law for eight years, said Mariusz Witczak, MP from the Civic Coalition.
– I am a bit surprised by the attitude of my colleagues. Because the matter may be trivial, but everyone should be treated the same, whether it is Kaczyński or not – commented Tomasz Trela, an MP from the Left.
