Police officers escorted a five-year-old boy bitten by a dog in Jasionka to the hospital. The child’s father, who was taking his son to the hospital, asked for help. The boy has been under the care of doctors.

According to the press officer of the Rzeszów police, Magdalena Żuk, the incident took place on Wednesday (July 5) after 4 pm in Jasionka near Rzeszów.

– Officers from the Police Prevention Department in Katowice, who are on duty in our province, were approached by a man. In a shaky voice, he asked the policemen for help. He wanted to get to the hospital as soon as possible. He was transporting his son in the car, who was bitten by a dog and required medical attention, reported the midshipman Żuk.

She added that the officers, although they did not know the route to the hospital, immediately joined the action and provided assistance.

The boy was under the care of doctors

“They turned on the priority signals and began escorting the Volkswagen. The pilot went smoothly and the five-year-old boy was handed over to the doctors” – the press officer reported.

As later determined by the police from the Trzebownisko police station, the child was bitten on the private property of a family member. The dog that bit the boy is up to date on vaccinations.
