Nobody submitted an offer: On Monday, offers in the District Court in Wałbrzych were to be opened in the second tender for sale in the entire “Karolina” Table Porcelain Plant in Jaworzyna Śląska. – Nobody submitted the offer again buying plants – he said in an interview with PAP trustee “Karolina” Ronald Kazimierz Olszewski. The starting price in this tender was over PLN 41 million (In the first tender it was Pond PLN 45 million, but also then no one submitted an offer).
What next with the “Karolina” factory? The trustee will proceed to the next stage of bankruptcy proceedings. – At the beginning We will put storage supplies for salelater production halls. Perhaps in the meantime an investor will appear who will want to buy part of the plant and launch production in some extent – said the trustee. After the bankruptcy of the plant 180 employees were released. The crew is waiting for payment overdue salary in one month. – Here, certainly from the sale of part of the plant's assets will be able to regulate these employee arrears – assured the trustee “Karolina”.
Factory problems and history: The bankruptcy of the “Karolina” table porcelain plant was announced in February 2024. The factory situation began to deteriorate in 2022 with rising energy prices. An additional problem turned out to be malfunction at the plant gas station. The history of the Porcelain Factory in Jaworzyna Śląska dates back to 1860. After the Second World War, it was nationalized and in 1954 she received a new name.
