Jedlińsk near Radom. Ambulance rolls over, one person dies

In Jedlińsk near Radom, an ambulance that was returning from a call, without a patient, overturned. “Two men were driving it, one of them died on the spot, the other was taken to hospital,” the police said.

According to information from our reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz, the incident took place on Warszawska Street, on provincial road number 735. The ambulance collided with a Peugeot passenger car. – The emergency medical team was returning from a call, without a patient. Two people from the ambulance crew were injured, Węgrzynowicz said.

The accident was confirmed by the Radom police on social media.

“The officer on duty received a report of an accident in Jedlińsk after 6 p.m. According to preliminary findings, an ambulance was driving from Radom with emergency signals on and at the intersection there was a collision with a Peugeot that was driving from Warsaw and was turning left,” the police said. “As a result of the impact, the ambulance overturned. There were two men in it, one of them died on the spot, while the other was taken to hospital,” it was further noted.

Operations are ongoing on site. The road in Jedlińsk is blocked.
