A 10-year-old girl from Jędrzejów (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship) called the emergency number 112 and called for help for her mother. Thanks to this, the woman received help. The girl was honored by the Jędrzejów police commander.
The incident took place in mid-December. A 10-year-old girl called the emergency number and noticed that something bad was happening to her mother. The girl provided all the necessary information about her mother's condition, thanks to which the services intervened quickly.
After receiving the report, the officer on duty at the Jedrzejów police station sent a patrol to the site. At the same time, the emergency dispatcher was in constant contact with the child and informed the girl that medical services and the police would arrive at the scene. All this so that the 10-year-old is not afraid to open the door to the apartment.

“Little Heroine”
On December 31, the District Police Commander in Jędrzejów, Inspector Piotr Piłatowski, and his deputy junior inspector Grzegorz Lotka met the 10-year-old heroine. The officers expressed their appreciation to the little resident of Jędrzejów for her exemplary and exemplary attitude. The girl also received a small gift from the chief of Jędrzejów police officers.
“The behavior of a 10-year-old girl, who showed incredible responsibility and self-control, deserves great recognition. In stressful situations, it is often difficult, even for adults, to keep a cool head, and the presence of mind shown by the little heroine is commendable,” the uniformed officers emphasized. .
