Jelenia Gora. A three-year-old girl went out onto the roof of a tenement house

In Jelenia Góra (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship), policemen pulled a three-year-old girl from the roof of a building. The child left the house while playing, taking advantage of the mother’s inattention.

It happened on Tuesday, March 14, before 1 p.m., in one of the buildings on Piłsudskiego Street. According to Edyta Bagrowska, a spokeswoman for the Jelenia Góra police, the family lives in an apartment with easy access to the roof of the building.

Mother was in the next room

– When the child went to the roof, her mother was in the next room. The police officers who arrived on the spot noticed the girl on the roof and ran up the stairs – reports Bagrowska.

Officers entered the apartment, then pulled the child from the roof and handed him over to his mother. The woman was sober.

In addition to the police, three fire brigade units were sent to the site, including a ladder truck and a jumping chute. In the event of an accident, rescuers in an ambulance were also waiting nearby. In the end, no one was hurt.
