A 31-year-old man who destroyed an ATM screen in Jelenia Góra (Lower Silesian Voivodeship) is facing up to five years in prison. According to the police, the man wanted to withdraw money from the machine. He failed, so he took out his anger on the device and the walls of the bank branch room.

The incident took place on June 30 in one of the bank branches in Jelenia Góra in Lower Silesia. According to the police, the 31-year-old tried to withdraw cash from an ATM located in the Jelenia Góra bank branch.

– Unfortunately, the attempts did not bring any effect, which aroused anger in him, which he then unloaded on the ATM display and on the walls of the room. With his behavior, he caused losses of PLN 15,000, said sub-inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Jelenia Góra police.
