The couple unexpectedly returned to each other after 17 years to seal their relationship with a wedding. During this time, however, they both managed to start families, and Affleck married Jennifer Garnerwith whom he has three kids. He separated from her in 2015. As you can see, he has a very good relationship with his ex-wife (Garner).

Aflleck and Garner have grown up together kids – 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Seraphina and 12-year-old Samuel. However, they meet not only in the company of children. The two were photographed in Brentwood, California. Paparazzi took photos of Garner buying bagels at a bakery and going to her ex-husband's house. Then they drove around the city together in a car. Interestingly, the former spouses recently spent Thanksgiving together.

A source told Page Six that Garner and Affleck usually share custody of the children during the holidays, but this time will be different. The actress allegedly suggested to her ex-husband that if he wanted, he could spend some time with her Christmas together with the whole family. A person close to the former couple admitted that Garner would like the children to meet both parents as often as possible. This is not the first time Ben Affleck has spent a lot of time in the company of his ex-wife. They were spotted on a trip together over the summer, having lunch with their children.
