The owner of Biedronka showed the results: The Jeronimo Martins Group had sales at the level last year 33.5 billion euros (an increase of 9.3% year-on-year). The largest share in this amount (70.4%) comes from here Ladybirdwhose sales amounted to approx. 23.6 billion euros (+9.6%). The chain also recorded strong growth Hebe (+24.3%), whose sales last year amounted to 583 million euros.
Will this be a tumultuous year? Pedro Soares Dos Santos, president and CEO of Jeronimo Martins, indicated that 2025 will be turbulent and uncertain, at least in the first half of the year. “We expect behavior consumers will continue to be cautiousand the market will remain under high competitive pressure. Therefore, we will work on discipline and efficiency to ensure price competitiveness that will strengthen our market position,” he added.
