Jimmy Kimmel is taking the Oscars stage as soon as extra.
The late evening host is about to host the 96th Academy Awards on March 10 for the fourth time. Becoming a member of him for the second 12 months is his spouse and Jimmy Kimmel Live co-head author, Molly McNearney, as a producer.
“We’re thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly returning as government producer for the Oscars,” Academy CEO Invoice Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang mentioned in a press launch Nov. 15. “They share our love of flicks and our dedication to producing a dynamic and entertaining present for our international viewers. We’re deeply grateful to Jimmy, Molly and their groups for his or her unbelievable creativity and partnership and for occurring this journey with us once more.”
Jimmy—who hosted in 2017, 2018 and 2023—has beforehand shared his emotions about being on the helm of the prestigious ceremony.
“Being invited to host the Oscars for a 3rd time is both a fantastic honor or a lure,” he teased to Variety in 2023. “Both approach, I’m grateful to the Academy for asking me so shortly after everybody good mentioned no.”
