US President Joe Biden underwent an annual health checkup. According to his doctor Kevin O’Connor, the American leader “is a healthy, energetic 80-year-old, able to continue to perform his duties.” The biggest change compared to last year is the COVID-19 infection. Biden consulted with ten specialists, including a cardiologist, an orthopedist and a neurologist.

“The president remains fit for duty and fully performs all his duties without exceptions or exceptions,” wrote Dr. Kevin O’Connor, summing up his health Joe Biden after a series of tests on Thursday at Walter Reed Hospital near Washington.

Biden consulted with ten specialists, including a cardiologist, an orthopedist and a neurologist. According to the report, the president, as in the previous year, is taking medications for atrial fibrillation, hyperlipidemia, gastroesophageal reflux disease, seasonal allergies, stiff gait and mild foot neuropathy. According to Dr. O’Connor, none of these conditions have worsened compared to last year.

He noted that the biggest change in the president’s health was the infection he had in July COVID-19, which, according to doctors, did not leave a long-term mark on the condition of the politician. O’Connor added that Biden does not use tobacco or alcohol and exercises five times a week.

“President Biden remains a healthy, energetic, 80-year-old man who is capable of successfully carrying out the duties of the presidency, including as chief executive, head of state and commander in chief of the armed forces,” the doctor concluded.

Biden, who turned 80 in November, is the first 80-year-old president in history USA. According to media reports, the president is about to announce that he will seek re-election in 2024.
