On the website of the CNN station we read that several dozen hours of US President Joe Biden in Poland and Ukraine are among the most momentous in his presidency. “It was the culmination of both careful, top-secret planning by White House advisers and the president’s unique, decades-long view of America’s role in the world,” it said.

CNN: Duda has emerged as the main US partner in Eastern Europe

As CNN wrote, the current US administration was initially skeptical about the Polish president, but Andrzej Duda “emerged as the main partner of the United States in Eastern Europe in a time of raging war in Ukraineoverseeing the massive influx of refugees and transforming Poland into a logistical hub for shipments of Western military aid across the border.

The CNN portal also noted that Biden and his associates do not perceive Vladimir Putin as an agreeable person. But beneath Biden’s promises of continued support for Ukraine lies a fear shared by his European allies that the war could escalate into a stalemate with each side seeing small gains and losses with no clear direction.

The article also drew attention to the almost simultaneous speeches of the US and Russian leaders. “The differences between the two speeches were clear, both in content and character. Biden was introduced in Warsaw to a throbbing pop anthem. Putin seemed to put some listeners to sleep with his almost two-hour speech,” the station wrote.

Biden’s critics used his trips to Kiev and Warsaw to accuse him of a lack of interest in domestic affairs, symbolized by the derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals in Ohio state, CNN added.
