Words will flow from Warsaw to the whole world. Joe Biden will certainly talk about the difference between the free world, based on democratic values, and the dark authoritarianism on the other side, personified by the authorities of Russia and Belarus, said Marcin Przydacz, head of the President’s Office of International Policy. The deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Paweł Jabłoński, stressed that the US “does not have as much resistance as some countries in Europe” towards increasing aid to Ukraine.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, US President Joe Biden will pay a visit to Polandwhere he will meet the president Andrzej Duda and will attend the extraordinary summit of the Bucharest Nine. The US President will also give a speech in Arkady Kubicki.

Przydacz: he will talk about the difference between the free world and dark authoritarianism

Presidential minister, head of the Bureau of International Policy Marcin Przydacz he said in an interview with PAP that “words will flow from Warsaw to the whole world”. – As we expect – words of thanks to the Polish government and to ordinary Poles for what they have done over the last 12 months for security, stability in the region, for helping Ukraine, for helping Ukrainians, for how we have dealt with recent crises without escalating them, but making the whole region safe, he said. In his opinion, words addressed to the world’s public opinion will also be spoken. – Mr. President Joe Biden as a representative of the largest democratic state in the world on the eve of the anniversary of the explosion war in Ukraine he will certainly talk about the difference between the free world, based on democratic values, based on international law, and the dark authoritarianism on the other side, embodied by the authorities of Russia and Belarus – said Przydacz.

Jabłoński: The US does not have as much resistance as some European countries

The deputy chief of Polish diplomacy, Paweł Jabłoński, also spoke with PAP. He was asked whether the visit of the US president could speed up the decisions of European allies to increase the production of ammunition needed by Ukraine and whether it could influence the possible transfer of fighters to that country. “We’re definitely working very hard on it.” The United States is a country that does not have as much resistance as some countries in Europe and also strongly encourages NATO allies to increase their support and speed up these deliveries, he said.

He added that Poland is a leader when it comes to persuading other, more skeptical countries to support Ukraine. He noted that there is still much to be done. “We hope that perhaps during this visit, perhaps not only during it, but in the coming days, further talks between the allies will lead to increased support,” said the deputy chief of Polish diplomacy.

He emphasized that there is no justification for withholding, limiting or limiting support for Ukraine, because “one can put statements between fairy tales” that greater aid for Ukraine provokes Russia to further attacks. “If there is anything that provokes Russia, it is weakness, the lack of ability to defend itself,” Jabłoński explained his position.

As the deputy foreign minister said, Biden’s visit to Poland is “certainly a strong signal that NATO has shown over the last year that it is a very effective alliance, contrary to various theses that Russia has repeated without any basis.” – The fact that it’s in Poland the president of the United States of America appears, it is also proof of the important role of our country in these allied talks – he added.
