John Cena is popping over a brand new leaf.

Actually, the famed wrestler-turned-actor simply introduced he shall be retiring from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after the 2025 season.

“Tonight, I formally announce my retirement from the WWE,” John, who wore a purple T-shirt adorned with the phrase “The Final Time is Now,” defined throughout a July 6 appearance at Money in the Bank 2024 in Toronto, Canada. “Together with history-making firsts, we’re going to construct so many unforgettable lasts. The 2025 Royal Rumble shall be my final. The 2025 Elimination Chamber shall be my final. And I'm right here tonight to announce that in Las Vegas WrestleMania 2025 would be the final WrestleMania I compete in.”

The 47-year-old went on to thank Canadian WWE followers for sticking by the group by its ebbs and flows, and famous that his retirement coincides with the historic transfer of WWE's Monday Night time RAW program to Netflix.
