Jose Mujica is dead. The former president of Uruguay was 89 years old, he was loved by crowds of compatriots

The former president of Uruguay Jose Mujica is dead – said the current leader of this South American country of Yamandu Orsi. The Uruguayan leader had a tumor.

Jose Mujica died from the age of 89. Recently he had cancer metastasis.

He was office in 2010–2015. He was loved by crowds of his countrymen and known, among others, for his modesty. Uruguay, however, gained the status of one of the most stable democracy in the region during his presidency.

“Thank you for everything you gave us and for your deep love for your people,” wrote the current leader of the Yamandu Orsi country, informing about his death.
