Police officers from Otwock reached the “car hollow” where the vehicle stolen in the Netherlands was located. They also detained a 34-year-old man who was charged with receiving stolen goods.
The officers of the criminal division of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Otwock established that there is a man in Józefów related to the theft of a Toyota Rav 4. The vehicle was stolen in the Netherlands. Patryk Domarecki, the press officer of the Otwock police station, announced that a 34-year-old Romanian citizen had been detained in connection with this case.

“The policemen then determined that the stolen car could be located in Józefów in the so-called hollow. After a short observation of the selected place, the time has come for decisive action. The policemen entered the ‘car hollow’, where during the search they discovered a car stolen in the Netherlands, “Domarecki said in a message.
On the spot, they found body parts, electronic modules, devices that could be used to steal vehicles and three thousand euros.
The 34-year-old was charged with receiving stolen goods, for which he faces up to five years in prison. “The District Prosecutor’s Office in Otwock, supervising the proceedings, applied a preventive measure against the man in the form of a ban on leaving the country and police supervision” – informed Domarecki.
