The indictment against the 26-year-old Patryk K. According to the investigators, the man first tried to rape a 16-year-old girl, and later – on the same day – raped a 33-year-old at the cemetery in Skoki.
The District Prosecutor’s Office in Poznań informed that a bill of indictment against 26-year-old Patryk K. had been sent to the District Court in Wągrowiec.
The man was charged with “attempted rape and rape, and of causing minor bodily harm and exposure to imminent danger of loss of life or serious damage to health.”
The 16-year-old managed to defend herself, the 33-year-old was raped
The alleged offenses were committed in February this year in Skoki. The accused was to attack two casually met women, aged 16 and 33. “The first victim – a minor victim – managed to escape thanks to defensive behavior and the reaction of an accidental witness of the event. The second victim – who was training running that day – was led to sexual intercourse against her by using violence and unlawful threats” – the District Prosecutor’s Office in Poznań reported .
The man was detained the day after the incident, on one of the streets in Skoki, after 24 hours of a raid. The detainee did not resist. The 26-year-old had not previously been convicted of crimes of a similar nature.
First he confessed, then withdrew
Accused initially pleaded guilty to all the alleged offenses. During the last interrogation, according to the prosecutor’s office, he did not plead guilty to rape. Patryk K. has been in custody from the moment of his arrest. In the past, he was convicted of the offense of maintenance evasion. The accused faces imprisonment from two to 12 years imprisonment.
