The media publish further tapes, which reveal many irregularities in the operation of the Justice Fund. They were registered by Tomasz Mraz – former director of the Department of the Justice Fund, who is one of the suspects in the investigation into irregularities in the awarding of million-dollar subsidies. He is described as the “key witness” who “slays the thugs.” Zbigniew Ziobro and his support from Sovereign Poland managed the Ministry of Justice and the Justice Fund itself for years.

The head of the Ministry of Justice was asked on Friday by journalists in Poznań to comment on the opinions of politicians PIS aimed at questioning the authenticity of recordings published in the media. – Taking into account everything that the prosecutor's office has done previously, there are no major doubts as to the authenticity of these recordings – said the minister.

He noted that before the recordings were made public, the prosecutor's office questioned Tomasz Mraz several dozen times.

– A number of materials were handed over to the prosecutor's office. I wouldn't worry about the investigation and how it is progressing, because a lot has already been done in this case. We have collected 300 volumes of files, searches have been carried out, and further procedural steps are being prepared, such as applications for the waiver of immunities. I also think that this line of defense (questioning the authenticity of the recordings – ed.) is not the best, because I think the facts speak for themselves – said Bodnar.

When asked whether subsequent publications of the content of the recordings did not raise his doubts as to the security of the case files, he emphasized that “the person who recorded the recordings is, to a large extent, the holder of these recordings and made this particular decision to dispose of these materials in this way.” make public”.

– It seems to me that it is difficult to prohibit a person from taking such actions in such a situation – said the head of the Ministry of Justice.
