– PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński will defend the politicians of Sovereign Poland for a while longer. He will suck out what he finds valuable. In the end, he will want to leave Ziobro, Romanowski and Woś in the dunce, said KO senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski in “Fakty po Faktach”. – There will be little left of Sovereign Poland, probably nothing – said Ryszard Petru from Poland 2050.

The guests of “Fakty po Faktach” were Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, senator of the Civic Coalition, and Ryszard Petru, MP of Poland 2050-Third Way.

They commented, among other things, on the request submitted by the Prosecutor General for consent to hold the Member of Parliament, former Deputy Minister of Justice Marcin Romanowski (Sovereign Poland), criminally liable, as well as his detention and temporary arrest. The charges concern 11 crimes and participation in an organized group aimed at committing crimes against property.

What's next for Sovereign Poland?

Krzysztof Kwiatkowski predicts that PiS politicians will, for now, defend Sovereign Poland politicians such as Marcin Romanowski. – President Kaczyński will defend them for a while. He will suck out from Sovereign Poland what he considers valuable, like MP Janusz Kowalski, who wrote one of the chapters of a biographical book about Lech Kaczyński. At the end he will want to leave in the donkey's pew Zbigniew Ziobro, Marcin Romanowski, Michał Woś – those who were directly responsible for the Justice Fund. In the end, he will say that it is not us (PiS – ed.), it is Sovereign Poland – said Kwiatkowski.

– We'll see how many people Mr. Romanowski brings with him, because an organized criminal group means that there were more people there. There is a question, probably the main one – what about Mr. Ziobro? Did he participate in this criminal group? The question is also whether there is evidence and papers for this – said Ryszard Petru.

– I assume that there will be little left of this Sovereign Poland, probably nothing. I want, and Poles also want, the truth to come to light, so that we know exactly how this money was wasted – added the Polish 2050 MP.

Kwiatkowski and Petru about the project of using weapons on the border

The government's project on the use of weapons at the border. “We're done with understatements”

The guests of “Fakty po Faktach” were also asked about the draft bill adopted by the government supporting the activities of the army, police and Border Guard. The document regulates, among other things, “the issue of using weapons in special situations.”

Kwiatkowski, commenting on the project, said that “we are ending the understatement that has prevailed so far, when the uniformed services did not quite know how to behave, and we also had a problem assessing the situation.” – (The project) precisely describes when a soldier or a representative of the uniformed service may use a weapon – he added, citing the government's announcement, which indicates “counteracting activities aimed directly at attacking the life, health, freedom of this soldier or other people.” – We agree, these should be circumstances in which the military has the right to use weapons – explained Kwiatkowski.

He also emphasized that the regulation stating that “every uniformed officer against whom proceedings are initiated has a public defender” and “his salary is not suspended until the case is resolved” is important.

– I am a supporter of a tight border and an effective army. (…) But I also expect that when the border is tight and we introduce effective law, we will stop talking about it every day, because it will also have repercussions on the entire Podlasie region. (…) Tourists do not come because they are afraid that there is a war zone there, and it is only near the border. Therefore, this whole narrative is really not favorable to the inhabitants of Podlasie – said Ryszard Petru.

– Let's remember one rule. Belarusians will treat us the way we allow them to. (…) Let's be effective, let's talk less and do more – added the Polish 2050 MP.

Kwiatkowski: PiS's brutal, racist campaign

United Right politicians began regularly publishing photos of people with darker skin colors on their social media profiles, fueling racist sentiments and suggesting that these people are staying in Poland illegally.

On Tuesday, PiS published a spot on social media criticizing Tusk's government for its migration policy. The recording shows, among others: people with dark skin, some with suitcases, at a bus stop or station platform, sometimes they are depicted with black stripes over their eyes.

Kwiatkowski called these actions a “brutal, racist campaign.” – President Jaroslaw Kaczynski he was afraid that the political dogma that he had been following in Polish politics for 30 years was getting out of his hands. (…) A very good result of the Confederation Law and Justice considered it a threat and decided that it had to show that it was more radical, aggressive and, in its opinion, better defending Polish national interests. And hence this disgusting, racist, untrue, false way – he said.

Petru admitted that he had a “more radical opinion on this matter.” – Kaczyński wants to gain additional electorate through fear. (…) I think it is terribly dangerous – he said.
