Justin Timberlake is scheduled to perform in Krakow on July 26 and 27. Meanwhile, media reports indicate that the singer, arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, will appear before a New York court on the first of these days. What does this mean for performances? A representative of Tauron Arena Kraków confirms to the tvn24.pl portal: both will take place as planned.

Justin Timberlake has been arrested on Tuesday after midnight in Sag Harbor, New York. Driving a gray BMW, the singer allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and failed to stay in his lane while driving, leaving it twice, according to court documents. After the arrest, the singer was taken to police custody, where he spent the night and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

– I look forward to Mr Timberlake's vigorous defense – says the singer's lawyer, Edward Burke Jr, in an interview with the PA Media news agency. – I will have a lot to say in due time, but for now I am waiting for detailed information from the district attorney's office – added the lawyer.

Justin Timberlake was detained and charged during a break between concerts on “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour”, promoting his new album. The singer last performed on June 15 in Miami, and according to the schedule, he will sing again on Friday, June 21 in Chicago.

Timberlake will start the European part of the tour in Poland – with two concerts at the Tauron Arena in Krakow – on July 26 and 27. Meanwhile, according to reports from leading American media, his next hearing is scheduled for July 26. Such a date is indicated, among others, by: website of the American station CNN, citing the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. Importantly, however, it is expected that this will be a remote hearing, reports CNN.com. In this situation, it is possible to reconcile the performance and explanations in court.

A representative of Tauron Arena Kraków also confirms in an interview with tvn24.pl that the musician's performances will take place as planned. And on the musician's official website, both dates appear unchanged.

The singer himself has not yet publicly commented on the arrest. There is no official statement from him either. His last post on social media, before his arrest, received over two thousand comments. The authors of many of them criticized Timberlake for his decision to drive under the influence of alcohol.
