Justyna Suchecka and Piotr Szostak, journalists of tvn24.pl, were winners of the Radio ZET Award. Andrzej Woyciechowski 2023. They were awarded for the article “Willa plus. Public money for organizations close to PiS. List”. The final three also included TVN24 journalist Piotr Ćwierczek for his reportage “The Power of Lie”.
Radio ZET Award The Andrzej Woyciechowski Prize has been awarded for the 19th time. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards of the journalistic world in Poland. The winner was selected by a jury consisting of representatives of the leading and largest Polish media.
The final three included: MichaĆ Janczura (TOK FM) for the radio documentary series “Underground”, Justyna Suchecka and Piotr Szostak (tvn24.pl) for the article “Willa plus. Public money for organizations close to PiS. List” and Piotr Ćwierczek (TVN24) ) for the report “The Power of Lies”.
The winners of the main prize were Justyna Suchecka and Piotr Szostak.

During the gala, an award was also awarded in the “Internet author” category. The winners were Piotr TarczyĆski and Ćukasz PawĆowski, creators of the American Podcast.

Patryk StrzaĆkowski wins in the “Journalist for the Planet” category
This year, for the first time, the Chapter also awarded an award in the “Journalist for the Planet” category. The award went to Patryk StrzaĆkowski from Zielona.Gazeta.pl. One of the nominees was Magda Ćucyan, a journalist of “Fakty” TVN and TVN24 for her series “Conversations about the end of the world”.

Andrzej Woyciechowski Award
The Radio ZET Andrzej Woyciechowski award was granted for the first time in 2005, on the 10th anniversary of the death of its patron. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards of the journalistic world in Poland. The Competition Jury includes outstanding representatives of Polish journalism and the media market, as well as Katarzyna RadziwiĆĆ – Woyciechowski’s daughter.
Andrzej Woyciechowski was a journalist. During his student years, he ran the Warsaw cabaret “StodoĆa” and also wrote song lyrics for, among others, Magda Umer. During martial law, he established cooperation with the French press agency Agence France Presse, with the Polish section of the BBC, and with Radio Free Europe. In 1990, he founded Radio Gazeta, which soon changed its name to Radio ZET.
