Two horses appeared on the road near Kamieńsk (Łódź Voivodeship), near the A1 motorway. Two others ran along the road behind the railing. According to witnesses, the animals were tired, one of them might have been injured. Police said the horses were fine, according to the veterinarian. The owner got a PLN 300 fine.
The horses ran onto the road near Kamieńsk on Saturday. We received information about the event and the video on Kotakt24 from Mrs. Dominika. The video shows two horses moving along the road and two behind the railing. As the woman said, the animals paralyzed the movement towards the north.
The frightened horses ran away the only possible way. At some point, when the drivers realized the seriousness of the situation, they decided to stop and let the horses escape, to make them feel safer and not as if they were being chased by cars – reports the witness of the event. It suggests that one of the horses looked wounded.
Mandate for the owner
As our interlocutor adds, the drivers notified the services that arrived within a dozen or so minutes. The policemen calmed down the horses and cleared the traffic.
We asked the Lodz police about the situation. – I confirm that yesterday, after the telephone notification, the policemen encountered three foals near the A1 motorway in the Radomsko poviat. However, they were not on the highway itself, but about a kilometer away. They were secured by the owner, who received a PLN 300 fine for not being careful. There was also a vet, the animals were fine – said Aneta Sobieraj from the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Łódź.
