Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, a member of the Civic Coalition and deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on justice and human rights, announced that she was infected with the coronavirus. At the same time, she expressed the hope that thanks to the vaccination, she would relieve the disease gently. “Take care of yourself!” – she appealed.

Today, the health ministry informed about 13,644 new cases of infections.

Coronavirus among MPs

Last month on a positive test for coronavirus informed Paweł Szramka, MP from Polish Affairs. Earlier this year MPs from the Left have infected themselves with the coronavirus: Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Tomasz Trela, Wiesław Szczepański, Marcin Kulasek and Anna Maria Żukowska.

Last year, COVID-19 among parliamentarians was passed, among others, by the deputy speaker of the Sejm Małgorzata Gosiewska, minister Przemysław Czarnek and former minister of health Łukasz Szumowskiand the afterword Edward Siarka (Pis), Jerzy Polaczek (PiS) i Artur Dziambor (Confederation) required hospitalization due to infection.

The health ministry said in early November that only 0.39 percent of people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 had been infected with the coronavirus.
