Subsequent questions concerned Nawrocki's attitude to eight demands contained in the Mentzen declaration.

1. I will not sign any law that raises existing taxes, contributions and fees to Poles or introduces new fiscal burdens for Poles.

Nawrocki: Of course, I am against increasing taxes. I declared it many times. This is part of my program. I thought about this point that refers to fees. And these will be certain fees related to the ordinances of the Minister of Finance. The Lord has such aspirations to be the Minister of Finance and I am wondering how much the president signing the law has an impact on the fact that the Minister of Finance will raise some fees by ordinances.

2. I will not sign any law limiting cash and I will guard the Polish zloty.

Nawrocki: Of course I will guard the Polish zloty. This is part of my program.

3. I will not sign any act limiting the freedom to express views in accordance with the Polish constitution.

Nawrocki: Of course, Article 54 of the Constitution speaks about it in a natural way. I will be the future guardian of the Constitution and freedom of speech is one of the foundations of the functioning of Polish democracy in general.

4. I will not allow Polish soldiers to be sent in the territory Ukraine.

Nawrocki: Of course I will not let Polish soldiers send in Ukraine.

5. I will not sign the Act on the ratification of Ukraine's accession to NATO.

Nawrocki: Of course. Today, in general, the discussion about the entry of Ukraine to NATO is completely pointless. Ukraine's entrance to NATO would make the entire North Atlantic alliance to war with the Russian Federation.

6. I will not sign any act limiting Poles' access to weapons.

Nawrocki: I will not sign. (…) It is very difficult to get a weapon permission in Poland. This must be admitted. Secondly, we are in a situation where such civil resistance of the Polish state must be raised. Today we need military training, civil trainings, and territorial defense forces. These regulations that are today are really complicated.

I think I will say for the first time (…): I have access to weapons. Personal weapon.

7. I will not agree to transfer any competences of the authorities of the Republic of Poland to the authorities of the European Union.

Nawrocki: Of course. (..) I think that in this declaration (Mentzen), if there were such consent, we should also add an act of opposition to the green order and (EU agreement with) Mercosur.

8. I will not sign the ratification of any new EU treaties that weaken the role of Poland.

Nawrocki: Of course. What is happening today in connection with the European Union's centralization tendencies, often, after all, a non -pathetic action is a threat to our sovereignty at all. I am afraid of what can happen to the Polish state in the coming years and in the coming decades. We entered the European Union to use the common market to give our entrepreneurs a chance to have no less freedom, and to have more freedom. We entered the European Union to use Schengen zones And so that we can travel all over Europe. Years pass, and we are starting to give our competences.
