Police officers from Kartuzy (Pomerania) detained a 32-year-old man who was supposed to throw stones at cars driving on a national road several times. The next time, witnesses tracked him down and let the police know where he was hiding. He is facing 3 years in prison.
– Last Thursday, the officer on duty from the Police Station in Żukowo received a report about a man who throws stones at cars driving the national twenty – told us senior aspirant Piotr Gdaniec from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Kartuzy. However, when the officers arrived, the perpetrator was gone.
He threw stones at cars and ran away
On the same day, drivers called twice with similar information, but the man ran away again before the policemen could get there. – The next day, the officer on duty from the Żuków police unit received a similar report. This time the witnesses ran after the man who hid in a nearby house and closed the door from the inside – says St. Asp. Gdaniec.
The man refused to open to the officers. It was necessary to break down the door.
Charges and arrest
The 32-year-old was arrested and charged with bringing the immediate danger of a road accident. It will also be responsible for destroying a total of six vehicles.
At the request of the prosecutor’s office on Saturday, the court imposed a three-month detention on the detainee. He is threatened with 3 years in prison for the crimes committed.
