The A4 motorway in Katowice was blocked for nearly 40 minutes due to a rescue operation for a driver who had fainted and stopped his car on one of the lanes. The LPR helicopter landed

Commissioner Magdalena Żubertowska from the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice confirmed the incident in an interview with the editorial staff of Kontakt 24. – The driver of the passenger car probably fainted while driving. The incident occurred on the 338th kilometer of the A4 motorway towards Krakow, and no other vehicles were involved – she said. An Air Ambulance helicopter was called to the scene. Ultimately, the driver, who was still alive, was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The A4 motorway in Katowice is now passable.
