The company owner noticed the burglar on surveillance and called the police. They didn't have to chase him. He was there, sleeping in a chair, and next to him lay his consumed loot – alcohol bottles.

A 40-year-old man broke into one of the companies in Racibórz in the Silesian Voivodeship. He found food items, including alcohol, in the office premises.

“The burglar decided to taste his loot, but he overdid it and fell asleep. However, the wake-up turned out to be less pleasant,” the police describe.

The company owner spotted the burglar on surveillance and called the police. The officers found the criminal on the spot. Drunk on alcohol, he slept in a chair with empty alcohol bottles lying around.

The 40-year-old was arrested and taken to police custody. A breathalyzer test showed that he had almost two per mille of alcohol in his body. He will appear in court for burglary. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
