The Minister of State Assets nominated seven candidates for the supervisory board of KGHM, the company announced in a press release on Monday. The extraordinary general meeting scheduled for Tuesday is to discuss changes in the supervisory board.
According to KGHM, the Minister of Assets nominated Zbigniew Bryja, Aleksander Cieśliński, Zbysław Dobrowolski, Dominik Januszewski, Tadeusz Kocowski, Marian Noga and Piotr Prugar to the council. Currently, the supervisory board of KGHM consists of 10 people.
The KGHM Polska Miedź Capital Group is a world producer of refined copper and silver. The company conducts exploration, mining and metallurgy activities.
