Fake bank sites
On Monday, CSIRT KNF – the Computer Security Incidents Response Team of the Polish financial sector, warned against fake mBank and Pekao websites.
“Cybercriminals have prepared a fake website that pretends to be @mBankpl. Don’t be fooled! The scammers will see your password as soon as you enter it on the created page. Address of the dangerous website: hxxps: //pl.mbank24.eu[.]online “- we read in the CSIRT KNF entry on Twitter.
“We warn you against a fake website impersonating @BankPekaoSA. Fraudsters intercept the login details entered on it, which may lead to the theft of funds. Address of the fake website: pekaopl[.]com looks confusingly similar to the real one “- added.
