In Kicin (Greater Poland Voivodeship), two wild boars fell into a trench on a private property. The community guards – together with the plot owner – built an “elevator” to free the animals. These then, safe and sound, returned to the forest.
The Municipal Police from Czerwonak (Greater Poland Voivodeship) received an unusual notification. On Wednesday, one of the residents of Kicin informed that two boars were trapped on his property. The animals fell into a deep trench.
– Two patrols appeared on the spot. The guards came up with the idea to create a kind of “elevator” through which it would be possible to safely get the animals out. The property owner provided tools, pallets and ropes. It was only necessary to put the animals to sleep during transport. This issue has already been dealt with by the vet. And so – in a clever way – we took out the animals – informs Przemysław Eszner, commander of the Commune Guard in Czerwonak.
Two wild and healthy wild boars were pulled to the surface and then transported to the forest. – We consulted the commune hunter. The wild boars went to the place where their family is currently staying. – The entire intervention from reporting to the release of wild boars lasted about an hour and a half. We are glad that we were able to help these animals – adds the commander.
