A 35-year-old woman who in Kielce (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship) was driving a public transport bus under the influence of alcohol was charged. She faces up to two years in prison.
The woman was detained on Thursday at the bus terminus at Massalskiego Street. After testing her with a breathalyzer, it turned out that the 35-year-old had more than the legal limit of alcohol in her body. The reason for the inspection was an anonymous report.
Charges and disciplinary dismissal
Daniel Prokopowicz, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kielce, informed that the suspect was charged with driving while intoxicated.
She was interrogated and confessed to committing the alleged offence. She also made a brief explanation, the prosecutor said. The prosecutor’s office collects evidence.
Representatives of the board of the Municipal Transport Company informed that the woman was disciplinary dismissed from work.
