On Tuesday evening, a fire broke out in a paint and varnish warehouse on Witosa Street in Kielce. The fire spread to the entire warehouse. There are about 20 fire brigades on site. There is currently no information about any casualties. The fire brigade appeals to Kielce residents to close their windows.
As reported by Junior Warrant Officer Beata Gizowska, press officer for the Kielce Fire Department, about 20 fire brigades are working on site. They are extinguishing the fire and securing neighboring buildings to prevent the fire from spreading.
The fire has not yet been located, and a cloud of smoke is still rising from the scene. Firefighters are monitoring the dust levels and are appealing to residents of nearby estates to close their windows.
A report of a fire in a warehouse with paints and varnishes at ul. Wincentego Witosa in Kielce was received by the fire department before 8 p.m. The fire engulfed the entire hall measuring 100 by 20 meters. There is no information about any injured people so far.
