There was a tragic accident in Kielce on Sunday afternoon. A car and a bus collided at the intersection of Klecka and Dymińska streets. Two people are dead.
Jr. asp. Małgorzata Perkowska-Kiepas, a press officer of the Kielce police, said that preliminary findings show that the 29-year-old driver of the Citroen passenger car most likely did not give way to the Kielce-Chmielnik bus, which resulted in a collision.

A 70-year-old passenger in a passenger car was resuscitated. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, she could not be saved. The 29-year-old driver of the car was taken to the hospital. The man was unconscious. After 5 p.m., the police received information that he also could not be saved.

A 47-year-old bus driver also needed medical attention at the hospital. The man was sober at the time of the incident. There were eight passengers on the bus who were fortunately uninjured.
Six fire engines were at the scene of the accident. The detailed circumstances of the accident are being clarified under the supervision of the prosecutor.
