A 42-year-old resident of Lower Silesia had 2.5 per mille of alcohol in the body. In such a state, he went on the road. The driving of the man – who was carrying three children and his drunk partner – was interrupted by another driver. Police officers found the 42-year-old lying in a meadow among the bushes.
On Tuesday evening, the Kłodzko police officer on duty received a report from a man who was driving, as he suspected, by an intoxicated driver on the national road No. 33. There were three young children sitting on the back of the Volkswagen, he said.
– The man did not remain indifferent and cut the driver off the road, thus preventing him from further driving. The drunk driver took advantage of the moment of inattention and fled the place where he was captured. After a while, the officers found him lying in a meadow in the thickets. After examining the sobriety of the 42-year-old, it turned out that she had 2.5 per mille of alcohol in her body – informs Wioletta Martuszewska, spokeswoman for the Kłodzko police.
He was carrying a drunk concubine and three children
In the passenger seat of the Volkswagen sat the concubine of the drunk driver. She was also drunk. She had – as the research showed – 1.5 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air. Three children aged six, nine and 11 traveled with the couple.
– Due to his extremely irresponsible behavior, the man was arrested and sent to police custody. He also lost his driving license. The policemen handed over the children and the vehicle to their relatives. The 42-year-old will be responsible for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. In addition, he must take into account – together with his partner – the consequences in a family court for taking care of underage children while intoxicated, says Martuszewska.
The man is threatened with up to two years in prison.
