In the village of Kluczkowice Osiedle (Lubelskie) a passenger car fell into a ditch. Four people were driving back from a nearby disco. Two were transported to the hospital: a 35-year-old and her 17-year-old son.
The accident took place on Sunday (June 5) around 3.40 in Kluczkowice Osiedle in the Opole district.
– Four citizens of Ukraine traveled in the car that entered the ditch: a 35-year-old woman, two men aged 24 and 35, and a 17-year-old boy. The 35-year-old and her 17-year-old son were transported to the hospital, informs staff aspirant Edyta Żur from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Opole Lubelskie.
Suspected of driving a car, he had 1.2 per mille of alcohol in his body
He adds that all those traveling by car are now residents of the Józefów commune and all of them had drunk alcohol before. They were returning from a nearby town from a disco.
– We determine who was behind the wheel. The 24-year-old who had 1.2 per mille of alcohol in his body is suspected. He hasn’t been questioned yet. He is currently in police custody – the policewoman points out.
Driving on dual throttle is punishable by up to two years in prison
Pursuant to the provisions of the Criminal Code, driving on a double gas is punishable by a penalty of up to two years in prison.
The driver must also take into account a cash benefit for the Victims’ Aid and Post-penitentiary Assistance Fund in the amount of not less than five thousand zlotys.
