He inflicted 16 knife wounds on his victim. The murder happened during the party. Cezary K. was supposed to grab a knife because he felt insulted by a man who was supposed to make a malicious joke at him. The court decided that K. would be behind bars for 15 years. The sentence is to be carried out in therapeutic conditions. The decision is not final.
Cezary K. was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of a man who, in his opinion, had offended him. He will be eligible for parole after 13 years.
Judge of the District Court in Koszalin, Sylwia Dorau-Cichoń, said during the reading of the verdict that the defendant is to serve his sentence in therapeutic conditions due to his addiction to alcohol and drugs.
The trial was held in public. The judgment is invalid.
Dozens of stab wounds
At the beginning of April, the Kołobrzeg prosecutor’s office filed an indictment with the District Court in Koszalin against Cezary K., who in December 2021, he committed murder in Kołobrzeg. This is an accusation of an act under Article 148 paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.
Prosecutor Ryszard Gąsiorowski, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Koszalin, informed us about the end of the investigation. – As the prosecutor established, the perpetrator with a knife with a blade length of 12 centimeters stabbed the front surface of the chest and the victim’s neck, inflicting puncture and cut-stab wounds, which caused a large hemorrhage, as a result of which the victim died – said the prosecutor. There were supposed to be 16 hits.
In the course of the investigation, Cezary K. admitted to the act and made an explanation. He claimed that there was some dispute, an argument between him and the victim. On the day of the incident, he drank alcohol and took amphetamines, and then he had an impulse that made him go to the kitchen, take a knife and stab the victim. He did not keep his nerves in check – Gąsiorowski reported.

Experts: he was sane
Gąsiorowski emphasized that the psychiatric opinion about Cezary K. did not confirm that he was mentally ill. The experts also stated that he was sane at the time of the incident. However, it was found that he was addicted to alcohol and psychoactive substances.
Cezary K. had previously been punished, but for crimes against property, so he was not treated as a repeat offender. As the prosecutor said, in August 2021 he ended his prison sentence, left the prison, went to Germanand in December – shortly before the murder – he returned to Kołobrzeg.
On an unlucky day, he was invited to friends for a “house party”. There he met a man who was supposed to play a malicious joke on him during the party.
