Eight teams of firefighters took part in extinguishing a fire that broke out in a single-family house in the village of Kondratki (Podlaskie Voivodeship) near the Polish-Belarusian border. A man has died after firefighters found his body in the rubble of a building.

On Saturday (January 10), after 8 p.m., the services received a report that a single-family house was on fire in Kondratki in the Białystok poviat.

As the spokesman for the Podlaskie Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service, junior brigadier Piotr Chojnowski, said on Saturday, after reaching the place, firefighters found the entire building on fire and the roof collapsed inside.

According to the information we received on Sunday from the KW PSP duty officer in Białystok, the action lasted until 1.36 and eight fire brigades, i.e. 36 firefighters, took part in it.

A man’s body was found in the rubble of a building.

The causes of the fire are not yet known. It’s fixed by the police.
