The police detained the head of the oncology department from the hospital in Konin (Greater Poland Voivodeship). The management of the facility does not inform about the reasons for the detention of Artur Z. and ensures that the hospital works as planned.

Artur Z., head of the oncology department with the hematological sub -unit of the hospital in Konin, was detained on Wednesday by the police – confirmed the director of the facility Krystyna Brzezińska. The hospital does not provide information about the reasons for detaining the head physician. – At this point, the hospital management is not planning to take any steps to the manager – Brzezińska said. For now, the police are economical in the comments. “I can only confirm that there was a stop,” said inspector Andrzej Borowiak, spokesman for the Greater Poland police. The director assured that the branch is working as planned. A deputy manager was appointed.
