In Konstancin-Jeziorna, Polish activists spread manure in front of the gate of the villa where the Russian ambassador lives. They set up a bloody Russian flag with the letter “Z” and put up a banner with the inscription: “Russia = s***! We don’t want you in Europe! Get out!” This is part of a happening planned for the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Activists from Euromaidan Warsaw informed about the action. It took place early in the morning on Saturday, February 24 – on the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the war and the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

They call for the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Poland

Dominik, one of the activists taking part in the action, explained the purpose of the happening.

– We wanted a clear signal to the Polish authorities and the European Union. It’s high time to expel Russian diplomats from our country. The Russian Federation is responsible not only for the criminal aggression against Ukraine, but also for the currently ongoing hybrid war. Russian agents of influence have caused enormous unrest throughout Europe, including on the Polish-Ukrainian border. As long as we tolerate the activities of Russian pseudo-diplomats and troll factories, the threat of conflict on a global scale will only grow, said activists quoted in the statement.

– I would like to treat it as an artistic action. This is more or less what we wanted to convey to the Russian Embassy, to the Russian ambassador. That is, we wanted to say what we think about Russian propaganda in our country. Because right now we are in the acute phase of hybrid war. But above all, we wanted to say what we think about the genocide that is taking place in Ukraine on the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion – said the activist in a video published by an anonymous volunteer, which reached our editorial office.

The recording shows a delivery truck pulling up in front of the property. Later, two tons of excrement land in front of the villa’s gate.

They woke up the diplomats with sirens

On the same day, around 6 a.m., a group of activists, including members of the Euromaidan-Warszawa organization, organized an unusual demonstration at Beethoven Street 3 in Warsaw, where many Russian diplomats live. As they explained. protesters used loud sirens and played sounds of explosions and shots to simulate the conditions in which Ukrainians have been awakened for 10 years by Russia’s actions.

Mikołaj Petryga, a participant of the action and one of the activists of Euromaidan Warszawa, commented on the goals of the demonstration: – Our intention was to wake up Russian diplomats in a way that reflects, at least to a small extent, how Russia has been waking up Ukrainians for 10 years. We would like to appeal to the Polish authorities to expel all Russian diplomats and liquidate the Russian embassy. As, for example, the authorities of the Baltic countries did in 2022. I don’t understand why we still keep representatives of this criminal regime in Poland? – he said, quoted in the activists’ statement.

The second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was celebrated in Kiev and in many cities around the world. Manifestation of support for Ukraine passed through Warsaw on Saturday. Similar events also took place in other Polish cities, including: in Wrocław and Gdańsk.
